Strategic Plan
Every five years, Howard Community College engages members of the external and internal communities to collaborate on the development of a strategic plan. As a result of this process - outlined in greater detail below - the college has adopted three strategic goals:

Commission on the Future
The Commission on the Future unites approximately 50 internal and 50 external community members in evaluating the economic, cultural, and educational climate of Howard County and considering how we can best serve the current and future needs of the county. The work of the Commission on the Future shapes the college's strategic plan, as well as future program and service offerings.
