Scholarships & Financial Aid 

Scholarships and financial aid may be available for Howard County residents who meet certain criteria and wish to enroll in career related noncredit courses.

Gift Certificates

Give the gift of learning! Give a friend, loved one, or employee one of our many life-enriching classes. The certificates can be for any dollar amount you choose and can be used like a check to pay for course costs at registration. Gift certificates can be purchased at the Cashier's Office, located at RCF-201.

Transfers & Refunds 

If you need to drop or transfer a class, please complete this online form. All continuing education courses are offered satisfaction-guaranteed, and we can assist you with transferring to another course or processing a refund. In most instances, if we receive notification before a class begins, you will receive 100 percent of tuition and fees (exceptions are noted in specific course descriptions). Once a class starts, tuition (not fees) is refunded. Refunds are not available after a class has ended. Transfers are usually permitted before the second class meeting. You may also use the the "Drop a Course" option on 足球博彩论坛 Express. If you are dissatisfied with a course, call 443-518-1700 or email us, and the appropriate coordinator will help you. 

NOTE: English as a Second Language courses have a different refund policy that is distributed in writing upon registration and is viewable on the English Language Center section of the website.

Tuition & Fees 

Tuition must be paid in full at time of registration. (Each course tuition amount includes a built-in $40 nonrefundable registration fee; additional course fees may apply.) In-county tuition is based on verification of Howard County residency. Out-of-county Maryland residents pay stated tuition plus $10 per course; out-of-state residents pay stated tuition plus $20 per course. Students who do not pay all course charges may be sent to a collections agency and will be responsible for additional fees as well as the original charges. They will not receive certificates and are ineligible to continue at 足球博彩论坛.

Tuition Waivers 

Seniors
The Howard Community College Board of Trustees has approved a free tuition program for senior citizens residing in Howard County and enrolling in credit and noncredit classes in which space is available. The free tuition program enables all Maryland residents 60 years of age or older to pursue an associate of arts degree or a certificate of proficiency, participate in college activities, and enroll in noncredit courses. Waiver applies only to tuition, not to fees. If you qualify for the waiver, you pay only the fees listed in the course description. Please note that all courses with "XE" designations are not eligible for tuition waivers. 

SSI Disability Waiver 
Students who qualify for SSI disability tuition waivers and provide the required documentation can receive tuition waiver for the noncredit, Continuing Education courses listed in the link below. Students should register in person and present the cashiers with the tuition waiver certificate in order to avoid paying the tuition associated with these courses. Students are responsible for all fees. To see the list of currently approved classes, click on the below link. This list will be updated monthly.
